Named “One of the Most Fun Things To Do In East Texas”, Adrenaline Rush Zip Line is one of Jacksonville’s coolest attractions. This place has eight zip lines, the shortest being 174 feet, and the longest being 1700 feet! A few of them even cross over the Geronimo. Speeds have been up to forty miles per hour. The Texas Basket Company, where they make and sell baskets, along with other gifts, is one of the best gift shops in town. At the River Run ATV Park, you can enjoy two thousand acres that are privately owned. Here, you’re able to ride your ATVs, 4 x 4 trucks, horses, and other off road vehicles. The owners allow customers to use the Neches River to swim in, wash off in, and whatever else. Picnic areas are located inside River Run Park. It is not uncommon to “go mudding” with friends and family, and showers with both hot and cold water are available in the park. There are cabins to rent, or RVs can be taken in for camping. There’s even a convenience store named “Rocks Pits Stop” so you can pick up a few essentials for your day.
